I am pleased to report that this year’s fishing adventure was relatively uneventful. No sick dogs and astronomical vet bills. No Hilary Duff played at top volume to deaf German Shepards. Just me and my lawn chair. And a sleeping bag. And the new novel, which I can’t show in this photo montage because, well, it’s not ready to be seen yet.
